Sean Slater Music is a family affair. It always has been. From the early days of singing in the car, wanting to own a gas station to hear stories of travels,  to current day of Dad being the "World's Greatest Roadie" and Mom being his Manager and calendar keeper, this singer/songwriter wouldn't change a thing.

Sean Slater  "The Blues Kidd" of San Antonio, Texas plays a variety of nostalgic mellow classic rock and folk mixed with his original blues tunes left handed.  He has the swagger of Neil Young with harmonica accompaniment and the smooth guitar sounds of Jack Johnson and Eric Clapton.

Sean's solo throwback style resonates with the vineyards, wine bars, and BBQ crowds because he serenades the likes of "Classic Vinyl" and "Blend" stations on Sirius radio, performing your nostalgic jukebox. He's influenced by jam bands, The Allman Brothers, Muddy Waters, CCR, today's blues rock, The Black Keys, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and folk artists Cat Stevens and Jim Croce. He may surprise the audience with “acoustimetals” of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Motorhead covers if requested, or Chris Stapleton, John Denver and Darius Rucker.

Sean also plays lead guitar for the modern Rock Band Abyss of Bliss.  His blues band The Authentics, have performed at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the Fiesta De Los Reyes San Antonio twice. Abyss of Bliss performed at Fiesta De Los Reyes San Antonio.

The son of a 31 year Air Force veteran, Sean has performed at the American Warrior Festival on two occasions, once sharing the bill with the bass player of the rock band Megadeth.

In June of 2023 Sean was featured in The Wimberley View newspaper after a journalist came to see him perform in Boerne.
